On this occasion we had the pleasure of taking part in the live broadcast of the 2023 Cross de Itálica, providing the aerial shots.

There are several things to get right when you run a UAS operation in a setting like this one: crowds, a live feed, a built-up area and a few kilometres from Seville airport.

We explain the C1-class drone with a parachute and the signal chain to the director in drones for live events and broadcasts.

Flying a few kilometres from an airport

Whether you can fly depends on airspace restrictions, the surroundings (urban areas, crowds), how close you are to airports or heliports, and the applicable regulations. Before filming, the operational scenario has to be checked and, where required, authorisations or coordinations arranged.

We handle coordinations with airports, drone flights in urban areas and flights in protected natural areas or defence zones. We explain it in drone flight permits and coordinations.

A live broadcast outside the Region of Murcia

This was a job outside the Region of Murcia. When we travel, travel and logistics are quoted according to the location and the shooting plan, and we review the airspace restrictions of the destination municipality or province.
