We handle drone flight permits and coordinations in Murcia, Spain
- San Javier CTR
- Alcantarilla CTR
- City centre
- ZEPA
- TSA zone
We handle coordinations with airports, drone flights in urban areas and flights in protected natural areas or defence zones. It is the part of the job that never shows up in the final shot, but without it the drone does not take off.
Can a drone fly anywhere in Murcia? Yes, but it depends on airspace restrictions, the surroundings (urban areas, crowds), how close you are to airports or heliports, and the applicable regulations. Before filming, the operational scenario has to be checked and, where required, authorisations or coordinations arranged.
These are the scenarios we handle for our flights:
- Coordinations with airports: the San Javier and Alcantarilla CTRs.
- Flying in the city: Murcia city centre and locations with crowds.
- Protected natural areas: ZEPA sites and protected areas across the Region.
- Defence zones: TSA areas, that is, airspace temporarily segregated from air traffic.
This work is tied to our own flights: it is part of every job we fly, not a permit agency for third-party operations.
01
How we work
Do we handle permits and coordinations? Yes: we review restrictions, define the operational scenario and handle the coordination or permit where it applies.
In practice it is three steps:
- We review the restrictions. Airspace, surroundings, proximity to airports or heliports, and the applicable regulations.
- We define the operational scenario. From there we estimate time, logistics and whether the flight is viable.
- We handle the coordination or permit where it applies. Professional work is flown with cover in place and meeting the requirements that apply to the scenario.
02
What we need from you
To check whether your flight is viable and to quote it, this is enough:
- The exact location (or a link).
- Preferred date and time.
- Type of content (corporate, construction, music video…).
- How long you expect to be on location.
- Whether there will be people around.
- Deliverables (resolution, format, number of clips or stills).
With that we estimate time, logistics and whether the flight is viable. How much notice? The more, the better: if there are restrictions or a coordination is needed, you need room to manoeuvre.
Do we travel outside Murcia? Yes. Travel and logistics are quoted according to the location and the shooting plan, and we review the airspace restrictions of the destination municipality or province.

Real examples
- «Astronauta por un Día», for the Spanish Space Agency: a shoot inside the active San Javier Air Base. We flew within the perimeter and handled the airspace coordination for the operation.
- LEGO shoot in the Tabernas desert, in Almería: airspace coordination for a shoot with a custom aircraft, in a protected area and outside the Region of Murcia.
- Live broadcast of the Cross de Itálica 2023: aerials with crowds, a live feed, a built-up area and a few kilometres from Seville airport.
- Live broadcast of the Caballos del Vino 2024, in Caravaca de la Cruz: crowds, a live feed, a built-up area and a TSA zone, that is, airspace temporarily segregated from air traffic.
In both cases we flew the DJI Mavic 3 Cine, C1 class and with a parachute, which lets us operate in demanding environments like these. You will find it in our fleet.
This permit work sits behind our live events and broadcast and film and commercials services.
